The special tire Galaxy HTSR400 E-4/L-4 is designed for quarry dump trucks and other equipment used in the production areas of mining enterprises. It is most effective on solid rocky soils, demonstrating in such conditions the reliability of traction and coupling properties, exceptional resistance to any mechanical damage and prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
The non-directional tread pattern is a combination of individual blocks. The elements are arranged in such a way that when moving, they form essentially continuous transverse edges, which improves traction characteristics, especially on loose unstable surfaces. It is worth noting the significant voids between the blocks, thanks to which the tread does not get clogged with stones, which increases its service life. Another feature of the tire is the design of the carcass, which is a multi-layer all-steel cord. On top of it is a breaker, which is also made entirely of steel. This, along with a particularly durable rubber compound, gives the tire exceptional reliability and a long service life when operated in the most severe conditions.
