Fortune Nordis D – a commercial tire designed for installation on the drive axle of heavy-duty trucks. Among the model's features are directional stability, reliability of traction properties, including on wet asphalt, and a long service life.
A special compound was used in the manufacture, which contains a number of components that increase resistance to abrasive wear. In combination with a wide contact patch and uniform load distribution, this provides an extended mileage.
The central zone of the tread consists of two ribbed structures that provide ease of maneuverability and directional stability. Each of them is segmented into separate blocks, which created a large number of gripping edges, improving acceleration and braking characteristics. The channels formed by them, which open outward in the "shoulder" area, guarantee rapid cleaning of the contact area from water and dirt. They also participate in heat dissipation, helping to maintain the optimal temperature regime of the tire.
