Firestone Weathergrip 225/55 R17 97V
Specifications
DescriptionDescription Firestone Weathergrip 225/55 R17 97V
The all-season tire Firestone Weathergrip is a universal model designed for operation in both urban conditions and on high-speed highways. It is distinguished by improved traction properties on wet and snowy surfaces, comfort in handling, low noise level, smooth ride, and extended service life.
The tread pattern has a "winter" design, featuring a V-shaped arrangement of grooves. This, at the very least, guarantees stable traction in adverse weather conditions, improves traction and braking properties on wet surfaces and snow, and reduces rolling resistance. At the edges, the grooves intersect with each other. In combination with the beveled edges of the blocks, this allows the tread to capture and hold snow, which also improves traction properties on winter roads. Another notable feature is the dense lamination of the lamellas. The hundreds of sharp edges formed by them allow for reliable handling on the most slippery surfaces.
Main features of Firestone Weathergrip
- improved traction on snow thanks to cross-shaped grooves in the shoulder areas and rounded block edges;
- numerous 3D lamellas improve traction and braking properties on the most slippery winter surfaces;
- low noise level due to the arrangement of tread elements with a certain pitch relative to each other
