Since the Fesite HF768 model was initially designed for operation on loose and unstable surfaces, a number of solutions were applied in the development of its tread pattern to provide the tire with reliable and stable traction on them. It has a V-shaped symmetrical design characteristic of winter and off-road tires, distinguished by a large number of individual elements of various shapes and sizes.
Thanks to this diversity, the contact patch has a multitude of sharp edges in different directions at any given time, which provides reliable and stable traction on surfaces with a low coefficient of friction.
Excellent cross-country capability on loose soil
Like the central part, the shoulder areas of the tread have a block structure. However, the shape of the blocks located here is slightly different. It is more like a regular quadrangle, which was done to solve several important tasks at once. First of all, this is ensuring high traction properties in the longitudinal direction, which will be very useful when driving on wet roads, as well as when overcoming sections without a solid road surface. In addition, the massive size of the shoulder blocks allows for a more even distribution of external pressure over the contact patch, which has significantly improved a number of important tire properties, from resistance to uneven wear to load capacity.
