Like the central part, the shoulder areas of the tread have a block structure. However, the shape of the blocks located here is slightly different. It is more like a regular quadrangle, which was done to solve several important tasks at once. First of all, this is ensuring high traction properties in the longitudinal direction, which will be very useful when driving on wet roads, as well as when overcoming sections without a solid road surface.
