Description Fesite HF111
The Fesite HF111 summer tire is designed for use on the front axle of medium-duty commercial vehicles. It is offered in sizes for wheels with a rim diameter of 17.5 inches. The model is characterized by a long service life, the possibility of tread restoration, and good performance when braking and on wet surfaces.
Tread with a rigid shoulder
One of the characteristic features of the tread design is the construction of its shoulder areas. Each of them contains a wide longitudinal rib. The element has exceptional rigidity, provided by the absence of breaks throughout its length, massive dimensions, and physical properties of the compound. This allows the shoulder of the tread to "keep its shape" under continuous deforming influence of transverse acceleration forces and external load of the vehicle weight and cargo being transported. As a result, high accuracy and speed of the tire's reaction to the driver's actions are ensured, which adds additional comfort to the handling process.
Another result of using such a tread shoulder design is a significant reduction in rolling resistance. This noticeably improves fuel efficiency.
Rigid and wide shoulder areas allow optimizing the distribution of external load on the tread section in contact with the road surface. It becomes uniform, which, on the one hand, increases the tire's carrying capacity, and on the other hand, reduces the abrasive effect on the tread surface.
Shortened braking distance
If there are no transverse traction edges in the shoulder areas of the tread, a large number of them are formed in its central part. It contains many blocks that are maximally close to each other. They provide the tire with the necessary "grip", allowing it to effectively slow down, especially on wet surfaces. At the same time, the blocks located almost close to each other, when affected by longitudinal acceleration forces, rely on their "neighbors", which allows the contact patch not to change in size, giving the braking process a stability that is comfortable for the driver.
Soft comfortable ride
The tread contains many wavy lamellas located parallel to the direction of movement. The functionality of these elements is quite specific, as it is aimed at increasing comfort. They give the blocks and ribs of the tread additional elasticity. On the one hand, this increases the size of the contact patch, and on the other hand, it allows more effectively damping the shock impact of road irregularities. As a result, both traction and comfort level are improved, including ride comfort, since the tire, thanks to this solution, demonstrates a soft ride.
Key features of Fesite HF111
- rigid shoulders of the tread improve traction when maneuvering, reduce fuel consumption, and increase handling accuracy;
- quadrangular blocks in the center of the tread reduce the length of the braking distance, especially on wet surfaces;
- longitudinally arranged wavy lamellas give the tire a soft ride, as well as improve traction, increasing the area of the tread section in contact with the road surface.
