The asymmetric summer tire Dunlop SP Sport MAXX RT2 SUV is designed for a wide range of SUVs. It is characterized by increased performance, stability of coupling properties, a short braking distance, and a high level of comfort. The model belongs to the UHP class.
The basis of the tire is the Sport Maxx RT2 model, used for passenger cars. The developer made constructive changes, thanks to which the tire gained increased resistance to loads. Thanks to the corrections made, the braking distance decreased by 7%, wear resistance increased by 11%, and the overall performance indicator by 6%.
The asymmetric tread pattern used is designed to maximize contact with the road surface. The presence of curved notches in the tread zone contributes to increased maneuverability at various speeds, as well as the stability of the vehicle during maneuvering. Improved braking in any weather conditions is provided by dual blocks in the "shoulder" area.
At the bottom of the drainage channels, there are special elements that perform a noise reduction function, creating the most comfortable driving conditions.
To combat uneven wear, a flat tread profile is provided. This design feature also contributes to an increase in the contact patch, maintaining grip even when performing maneuvers at high speeds.
