To date, the British company Dunlop occupies one of the leading positions in the production of tires for motorcycle equipment, thanks to the high operational characteristics of its products. The Dunlop D602 motorcycle tire is rightly considered one of the best tires designed for light and medium motorcycles in the "enduro" category.
When developing this tire, the company's engineers sought to meet all the requirements presented by the owners of "enduro" motorcycles. A distinctive feature of this tire is its versatility, in other words, the tire performs perfectly both off-road and on the highway. This was achieved largely due to the unique rubber compound of the tread, which provides excellent traction on various types of surfaces.
The design of the V-shaped tread pattern of the Dunlop D602 tire features a large number of blocks of various shapes and sizes, grouped into seven separate rows. The blocks located in the center of the tread have large sizes and a rhombic shape with rounded corners. This made it possible to provide the tire with excellent stability, low rolling resistance when moving on a road with a solid surface, without compromising the cross-country ability.
Another distinctive feature of this tire is the reinforced design of the shoulder areas of the tread, consisting of massive and high rectangular blocks. Thanks to this, it was possible to ensure excellent stability in turns. In addition, the large height of the shoulder area blocks improved the cross-country capability and provided a high level of protection for the tire's sidewall from damage.
