When creating this model, specialists tried to take into account all the wishes of consumers, and the main emphasis was placed on increased protection against damage and confident handling. To achieve these goals, a massive tread pattern and an impact-resistant carcass were used.
Massive Tread Pattern
When creating the Doublestar DS928 tire, a massive tread pattern was specifically used, providing excellent driving qualities when moving on any road surface. Two rows of central blocks provide confident handling when driving in a straight line, reducing response time. In addition to massive blocks, the shoulder area has a special rubber ring, which provides increased stability during maneuvers and additional protection against lateral damage. Special lamellae increase stability on wet road surfaces and reduce noise when driving. Three deep water channels perfectly perform their functions, quickly removing water and dirt from the tread, increasing passability and stability.
Impact-Resistant Carcass
To prevent possible damage and punctures, a special impact-resistant carcass was used. When creating it, a new technology of cord winding and special steel rings were applied. This made it possible not only to obtain maximum protection against damage but also to achieve optimal pressure distribution inside the tire, which significantly increased the mileage. The new carcass also increased resistance to increased loads, which often occur when driving on poor road surfaces.
Even when operating in difficult road conditions, the tire provides excellent stability and clear handling.
