Description Dayton D400T
The Dayton D400T commercial tire is used on freight vehicles, specifically on trailers and semi-trailers. It is designed for year-round operation. The standard tire for freight was developed to provide high resistance to uneven wear in order to increase the service life.
The tread pattern is symmetrical and non-directional, universal. The absence of block separation is noticeable, all stiffening ribs are continuous. The four central ribs are narrow, the shoulder area ribs are wider. The combination of ribs provides a larger contact patch area, which improves traction and towing characteristics, as well as directional stability, maneuverability, and safety when cornering and braking.
Five wide and deep longitudinal grooves have a wavy shape, they quickly and effectively remove water, liquid mud, and snow slush from the contact patch area, thereby providing additional traction and eliminating the risk of aquaplaning.
The material of manufacture is high-strength rubber compound. Thanks to it, the tire withstands wear well, and is also able to withstand increased loads without deformation and mechanical damage.
