Description Daewoo DWD01
The Daewoo DWD01 truck tire is designed for use on the driving axles of long-haul trucks. Corresponding to specific usage conditions, this model features enhanced traction and grip properties in the longitudinal direction, excellent directional stability, high load-carrying capacity, and a very long service life.
Open tread pattern design
Since this model was initially designed for use on the driving axles of long-haul trucks, it's no surprise that it's equipped with a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern featuring an open design. It consists of a large number of rectangular blocks that form a multitude of grip edges during movement. This allows the tire to feel very confident, both when accelerating and braking.
Good directional stability
The aforementioned tread blocks are arranged in such a way that five longitudinal ribs are formed on the tread. Thanks to this design feature, the tire demonstrates excellent directional stability, and due to the small distance between the blocks, it also features reduced rolling resistance.
Excellent wet grip
Another advantage of the open tread pattern design of this model is the drainage system. The presence of a large number of individual elements has made it exceptionally developed, i.e., containing a multitude of longitudinal and transverse grooves, thanks to which the tire features increased resistance to aquaplaning.
It's also worth noting the presence of numerous sipes that are cut into each block. During movement, these tread elements form a large number of additional grip edges, giving the tire increased stability and reliability when driving on wet roads.
Main features of the Daewoo DWD01 tire
- The tire is designed for the driving axles of long-haul trucks;
- The open design of the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern provides exceptionally high traction and grip properties, especially on wet roads;
- Good directional stability and reduced rolling resistance due to the five longitudinal ribs and the reduced distance between the blocks that form them;
- High load-carrying capacity is achieved due to the optimized distribution of external pressure over the contact surface and the excellent strength of the carcass based on a all-steel cord.
