Description CST CM-S3N
The CST CM-S3N motorcycle tire is designed for use on sportbikes with engines having a displacement of over 500 "cubes". It stands out from the majority of its "classmates" due to the use of technologies and materials from racing tires for the "ring", which provides uncompromising traction and sporty handling at high speed.
The tire's tread is made using two compounds. Its central part is made from a more rigid rubber mixture, which improves the tire's performance during straight-line movement. The edges of the tread are made from an elastic compound that adds traction when cornering. It is worth noting the profile of the running part, which is made exactly the same as that of full-fledged racing tires for the "ring", differing in the maximum size of the contact patch when the bike is tilted. Another solution "borrowed" from track tires is the hybrid structure of the carcass, in which the synthetic cord is reinforced with steel wires, increasing its resistance to deformation, along with the use of the so-called "seamless" winding technology.
