Description Copartner CR587
The Copartner CR587 truck tire is designed for installation on any axle of trailers and semi-trailers, the operation of which is associated with long distances at high speeds. Thanks to the original tread pattern, this model has excellent directional stability and great fuel efficiency indicators.
Original 6-rib design of the tread pattern
The specific operating conditions did not leave a choice for the specialists of the Chinese company, who preferred to equip this tire with a symmetric non-directional tread pattern. It consists of six longitudinal ribs, as this scheme of arrangement of tread elements made it possible to ensure optimal distribution of external pressure on the contact patch. In addition, thanks to this technical solution, the contact patch was given a practically rectangular shape.
It is also worth noting the absence of any breaks at each tread rib, which makes them very rigid. This made it possible to significantly increase the resistance to dynamic deformation, which made the Copartner CR857 tire stable and reliable at any speed.
Low noise and vibration level
On the go, the tire has a low level of resonant noise and vibrations. This was achieved by giving all the tread ribs a wavy shape. In addition, this solution made it possible to further improve the braking efficiency, especially on wet asphalt.
Excellent traction on wet roads
The six tread ribs are separated by five drainage grooves. They have a large volume, which allows them to handle the removal of a significant amount of water from the contact patch, ensuring reliable traction with a wet surface. In addition, the surface of each tread rib has a large number of wavy lamellas, which, when in contact with the road surface, form additional traction edges. This made it possible to increase the braking efficiency, especially on a water-covered road.
Main features of the Copartner CR857 tire
- 6 longitudinal ribs provide excellent directional stability and low fuel consumption due to reduced rolling resistance;
- high resistance to aquaplaning, thanks to five drainage grooves that can hold a large amount of water;
- even distribution of external pressure on the contact patch reduces the likelihood of uneven wear;
- reliable and stable handling due to high resistance to dynamic deformation.
