Cooper Weather master xgr – a radial tubeless tire designed for use on passenger vehicles during the winter season. The main characteristic feature of the model is a sufficiently large distance between the tread elements, which gives the product high "scrubbing" characteristics – it literally "bites" into the road surface covered with packed or loose snow, snow slush, or ice. It behaves well on dry and wet pavement.
The rubber compound includes silicon-containing components that make the tire elastic even in frost. The soft rubber mixture in combination with the variable pitch of the tread blocks provides high acoustic comfort, reducing the noise level in the cabin, especially when accelerating and driving on rough roads. The aggressive non-directional tread pattern provides high traction characteristics on winter surfaces. Numerous deep transverse grooves and longitudinal channels of varying widths actively remove moisture from the contact patch area.
Main features:
- silicon-containing rubber compound reduces noise level and increases tire elasticity at extremely low temperatures;
- developed drainage system reduces the risk of aquaplaning and slaloming;
- aggressive tread pattern provides reliable traction.
