Contyre Arctic Ice II 205/55 R16 91T

When developing the Contyre Arctic Ice II winter tire, similar products from a Finnish manufacturer were chosen as a "benchmark". At the same time, the harsh road and climatic conditions of the Russian North were taken into account, and Russian production made it possible to ensure an attractive cost compared to foreign competitors.

One of the characteristic differences of this model is the increased number of lamellas. There are more than 5,000 such tread elements. A high density of their arrangement was made possible by the three-dimensional construction of the lamella walls. When in contact with the road surface, they are so tightly fixed to each other that they increase the stiffness of the blocks to a level at which good traction and excellent handling are ensured on rolled snow and ice.

The next significant advantage of this model is the compound from which its tread is made. Due to the high content of silicon dioxide, it remains elastic at very low temperatures, up to minus 50 degrees Celsius.
