The commercial tire Continental Scandinavia HT3 is installed on the trailer axle. It is designed for highway and regional transportation. Like other models in this line, it is distinguished by increased efficiency on slippery winter roads.

The tread is made of a rubber compound that is adapted to complex winter conditions. At negative temperatures, the compound remains elastic, preserving its grip properties. It contains special components that increase the tread's resistance to abrasive wear, punctures, and tears. The tread contains a large number of transverse edges. They are formed by blocks and wavy lamellas cut into them. This guarantees high efficiency when braking on slippery roads. The shoulder areas are characterized by increased stiffness due to longitudinal "bridges" that connect the blocks located in this part of the tread. This increases their resistance to deformation. Thanks to this, the stability of the grip properties when changing direction and braking is increased, and the wear of the entire tread is reduced due to the uniform distribution of the load on the road surface.
