The Continental LSR+ summer tire is used on various trucks and is characterized by an extended service life. During its development, specialists tried to take into account all the nuances of operation, and the main emphasis was placed on increased mileage and improved stability on any road surface. The use of the latest equipment made it possible to obtain a tire that fully meets all global quality and environmental standards.
Massive tread pattern
The massive tread pattern of the Continental LSR+ features deep water-draining channels and sharp edges of tread blocks. Four deep zigzag channels quickly remove water and dirt from the tire, providing excellent traction. Three rows of continuous blocks accelerate feedback and provide good directional stability. The reinforced shoulder area provides confident handling during any maneuver and increases protection against lateral damage.
New components in the rubber compound
When developing the rubber compound, new components were used that helped improve the tire's handling characteristics. To increase the elasticity of the rubber, silica was used. As a result, the tire features excellent traction on wet road surfaces and accelerated recovery properties, which reduced the load on the suspension elements. The increased wear resistance of the tread was helped by silicon. The new components also improved the thermal stability of the tire, which reduced the percentage of damage and tears. The reduced rolling resistance contributed to a reduction in fuel consumption during movement and increased stability during movement.
Main features of the Continental LSR+ tire
