Description Continental HT3 Eco-plus
The Continental HT3 Eco-plus commercial tire is installed on trailer equipment used in regional and highway transportation. For its class, it has exceptionally high fuel efficiency and mileage. In motion, it is characterized by directional stability and stability on wet pavement.
The tire's tread has a two-layer structure. The outer running part has increased elasticity and strength against rupture and stretching. As a result, the traction properties on wet pavement and resistance to abrasive wear, rupture, and punctures are improved. The inner layer of the tread is made from a "hard" rubber compound. It reduces heat and rolling resistance, prevents uneven wear, improves directional stability, and stability when moving at high speeds.
The design of the tread's running part is characterized by increased rib sizes and their monolithic structure. The massive and rigid elements expand the contact patch and ensure even load distribution on the road surface. On dry pavement, this improves traction and its stability, and under any operating conditions, it reduces rolling resistance and increases wear resistance.
Main features:
- installed on the trailer axle;
- the two-layer structure of the tread improves all basic operational and mileage qualities of the tire;
- enlarged ribs with a monolithic structure improve traction and directional stability, reduce uneven wear;
- optimized profile of drainage grooves reduces fuel consumption, increases the service life of the tread;
- rubber compound with special polymers reduces rolling resistance, improves traction on wet pavement.
