Description Continental HDR2+
The commercial tire Continental HDR2+ is installed on the driving axles. It is used in regional and highway transportation. Compared to the previous model, it is distinguished by a quarter increase in mileage before replacement. In motion, it is characterized by excellent traction on slippery surfaces and good fuel economy for its category.
The profile of the tread is made almost flat. Along with the design of the shoulder areas, this allowed to increase the contact patch and give it a rectangular shape. On dry surfaces, this enhances grip and provides high stability.
The tread pattern is made in an open design with numerous elements. The rectangular blocks are directed along the tread, which reduces rolling resistance. Their arrangement in a checkerboard pattern further increases the contact patch and reduces the level of abrasive impact, increasing the life of the tire. The presence of the blocks themselves guarantees stability on wet surfaces. When accelerating longitudinally, it is further increased due to the edges formed by the numerous lamellas.
Key Features of Continental HDR2+
