The Continental ContiProContact RX summer tire is a "touring" tire designed for owners of passenger cars who prefer to travel long distances. It is distinguished by its high-speed traction, handling comfort, smooth ride, low noise level, and fuel efficiency.

The tire's tread stands out with its unique profile. Except for the edges of the shoulder zones, it is practically flat. This significantly increases the contact patch, distributing the load evenly across it, which improves traction properties, increases directional stability, and precision handling. This solution reduces wear, ensuring a longer service life for the tire.

The tread pattern consists mainly of blocks. The small size of the elements allows them to be placed in a larger quantity, thereby increasing the number of edges formed by them. In addition to these, each block is equipped with bidirectional lamellae. All these hundreds of sharp edges provide the tire with stability on wet surfaces, improving traction and braking properties, and preventing lateral slippage. Note the use of advanced technological rubber compound. Its composition, in addition to a high content of "silica", is distinguished by the presence of a complex of polymeric substances. These substances provide uniformity of the compound, its tensile strength, and resistance to tearing at the molecular level. As a result, at low temperatures, the tread remains very elastic, helping the edges of the blocks and lamellae to better penetrate the water film on the road surface. Furthermore, the tire's abrasion resistance is significantly increased, which extends its lifespan.
