Compassal Winter Stud – a new model from a Chinese manufacturer, which is oriented towards the sector of passenger cars. The winter tire is equipped with a "Euro-stud" system, which provides improved traction properties on icy roads, as well as a low noise level.
The basis of the tire is a directional symmetrical tread with a wide central rib. Its distinctive features are irregularly shaped grooves that form numerous gripping edges. In combination with a dense network of lamellas, this allows to improve traction and adhesion properties on snowy surfaces. The elongated blocks of the shoulder area participate in the formation of a wide contact patch, as well as contribute to an increase in resistance to lateral skidding. The presence of European-type studs (small size) makes it possible to minimize wheel slip on slippery roads and increase the overall level of safety. Due to the small size, the noise level on clean asphalt is increased only slightly. Thanks to this, the driving comfort remains at a high level.
