Description Bridgestone RSV1Z
The Bridgestone RSV1Z commercial tire is installed on the steering axle. It is designed for regional and highway transportation. It increases handling accuracy, reduces operating costs due to fuel efficiency and extended service life.
The tread pattern features five ribs. The ones located in the central part are reduced in size due to the increased width of the drainage grooves. This reduces the risk of aquaplaning. The wavy shape of the groove walls prevents foreign objects from getting stuck in the tread, and also reduces wear, increasing the life of the tire.
The shoulder areas are increased in size. Along with their closed design, this gives them resistance to deformation. The stiffness of these elements improves fuel efficiency, gives the handling process accuracy and comfort with clear feedback on the steering wheel, and prevents uneven wear.
Narrow slits are located throughout the tread pattern. The functionality of these elements is to enhance the longitudinal traction properties on wet pavement. The effectiveness of the lamellas is increased due to their curved shape, which increases the length of the edges formed by them.
Key features:
- installed on the steering axle;
- increased width of drainage grooves provides stability in adverse weather conditions;
- the wavy shape of the edges of the central ribs reduces wear and the risk of stones and foreign objects getting stuck in the tread;
- enlarged shoulder areas improve handling accuracy, prevent uneven wear, and improve fuel efficiency;
- numerous transverse lamellas of curved shape reduce the braking distance on wet pavement.
