The Bridgestone R-Drive 001 truck tire is one of the new products from one of the well-known and respected Japanese tire manufacturers in the world. This model was specifically designed for use in the regional transportation sector. This tire, designed for installation on the driving axles of trucks, allows confident movement both on light off-road and on high-speed highways.

A feature of the tread of this model is the use of many technologies in its development, previously used mainly in tires for SUVs and pickups. In particular, a tread with a symmetrical directional pattern was used, which is made in an original V-shaped design. This solution made it possible to provide the tire with a number of significant advantages.

The tread of this model consists of six longitudinal ribs, each of which is a row of separate blocks that differ in massive sizes and shapes resembling a quadrangle. Four rows of blocks located in the central part of the tread are arranged at a significant angle relative to the direction of movement. The block structure of the tread pattern made it possible to significantly increase the number of sharp edges of adhesion, which significantly improved adhesion on slippery surfaces and also expanded the capabilities of the tire on light off-road.

In addition, the tread of the Bridgestone R-Drive 001 model is equipped with special stone ejectors, which significantly increased its ability to self-clean from foreign objects. It is also worth noting the presence of double lamellas on the surface of each of the tread blocks. These lamellas, when in contact with the road surface, form additional sharp edges, which significantly improve adhesion in winter and handling in summer due to increased block stiffness.
