Bridgestone Ecopia EP300

The Bridgestone Ecopia EP300 summer tire is designed for mid-size passenger cars. It is characterized by excellent fuel-saving properties, improved traction on wet surfaces, reliability, and a long service life on roads of poor quality.

Optimized contact patch shape

A distinctive feature of the tread is the configuration of the contact patch it forms. It is practically square, due to the dense fit of the tire to the road surface. This optimizes the load distribution across the contact patch, which has a positive effect on wear resistance, rolling resistance, and stability of traction properties in all driving modes.

Beveled edges of tread elements

The longitudinal ribs in the central part and the shoulder blocks have beveled edges. This solution increases their deformation resistance, ensuring an even distribution of external load across the contact patch. As a result, the longitudinal ribs and shoulder blocks work more efficiently, thereby improving directional stability and reducing braking distance.

Increased tread depth

Compared to the previous EP200 model, this tire is equipped with a tread having an increased depth, especially in the shoulder areas. This solution allowed to significantly increase the tire's service life.
