The application sphere of the Bridgestone Battlax S22 motorcycle tire is superbikes with high-power engines. It is characterized by sporty handling, stability on wet pavement, and a long service life even under extreme loads.

A significant part of the technical solutions used in this tire were "borrowed" from road-racing tires. In particular, the compound with a high "silica" content in the front tire and ultra-high in the rear. This combination provides the bike with close to neutral handling when changing direction. It's worth adding the use of two rubber compounds in the front tire and three in the rear, differing from each other in elasticity. The softest longitudinal strips of the compound are located on the edges of the tread, providing maximum grip at significant bike lean angles. The rigid compound in the central part increases its stability on straight sections.
