Description Boto BT168
The Boto BT-168 truck tire stands out from most other similar tire products with a wider range of applications. This model is suitable for operation on any axle of not only trucks but also tourist-class buses. A significant part of these capabilities is provided by the universal tread pattern, which demonstrates excellent performance on various types of coatings in any weather conditions. Additionally, it is impossible not to mention the high economic efficiency of this model, which is due to excellent load-carrying capacity and low operating costs.
Universal tread pattern
Since the development of the Boto BT-168 model focused on ensuring the universality of application, it was equipped with a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, the design of which contains a minimal number of individual elements. In essence, these are four longitudinal ribs separated by wide drainage grooves. The absence of composite elements in them made them very resistant to dynamic deformation that occurs during movement. Thanks to this, the tire demonstrates excellent directional stability, and when installed on the steering axle, it also demonstrates quickness and accuracy in executing the driver's commands, which significantly simplifies the process of managing the truck, thereby increasing driving comfort.
As for the traction properties in the longitudinal direction, which are very important in the case of installing the tire on the driving axle, they are at a fairly high level, despite the small number of individual tread elements. All, without exception, edges of the traction are formed due to the zigzag shape of the three drainage grooves that run along the entire tread along its entire length, as well as due to numerous notches in the shoulder areas. This is enough to provide the tire with excellent efficiency, both when accelerating and when braking.
Main features of the Boto BT-168 truck tire
- wide range of applications due to the possibility of operation on any axle, both of a truck and a tourist bus;
- low operating costs due to wear-resistant rubber compound, fuel efficiency, and long service life;
- excellent traction properties in any weather and road conditions are ensured by the optimized design of the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, which includes four very wide longitudinal ribs separated by voluminous drainage grooves.
