Description Bontyre T-830
The Bontyre T-830 truck tire is designed for highway and high-speed road use. It was specifically developed for installation on any axle of trailers and semi-trailers of trucks used in international and intercity transportation. Additionally, this model is distinguished by excellent applicability due to its release in one of the most popular sizes - 385/65 R22.5.
Low rolling resistance
This model is distinguished by excellent fuel efficiency indicators. This was achieved by minimizing the number of tread elements. In fact, there are only 6 - these are longitudinal ribs separated by drainage grooves. Such a tread pattern has very low rolling resistance, which directly affects fuel consumption.
Excellent resistance to uneven wear
Compared to the tread ribs located in the central part, the shoulder zones of the Bontyre T-830 have increased sizes. With the help of this technical solution, the company's specialists tried to make this part of the tread as rigid as possible. This made it possible to significantly improve the uniformity of load distribution over the contact patch, thereby increasing its resistance to uneven wear.
High braking efficiency
Despite the absence of tread blocks, the tire has fairly good braking properties. This was achieved by placing special lamellas on the surface of the four longitudinal ribs. When in contact, they open, creating grip edges, which ensures higher braking efficiency. At the same time, their location at a significant angle to the direction of movement made it possible to maintain the rolling resistance at a very low level.
Main features of the Bontyre T-830 tire
- the tire is designed for installation on any axle of trailers and semi-trailers, which are operated mainly on highways and high-speed roads;
- six longitudinal ribs, due to their high stiffness, provide very low rolling resistance and excellent directional stability;
- low noise level due to special recesses in the walls of the drainage grooves;
- optimal distribution of external load over the contact patch made it possible to increase the carrying capacity, while ensuring high resistance to uneven wear.
