Description Bontyre BT-320
The all-season truck tire Bontyre BT-320 is another model from a domestic manufacturer designed for installation on any axis of buses and other types of wheeled vehicles operated in urban conditions. I.e. this tire is perfectly adapted to frequent acceleration and braking, and also has protected sidewalls.
Year-round operation capability
The tread pattern consists of four longitudinal ribs separated by wide drainage grooves. Each of these tread elements contains a multitude of wavy-shaped lamellas located transversely. With their help, the company's specialists were able to leveled the absence of blocks. When contacting the road, these lamellas unfold, resulting in the formation of multiple traction edges. As a result, the Bontyre BT-320 tire demonstrates good traction characteristics even on rolled snow and ice.
Low noise level
One of the distinctive features of the tread of this model is the wavy edges of the longitudinal ribs. This technical solution made it possible to minimize the risk of resonance noise and vibration, which significantly improved the driving comfort.
Even tread wear
Compared to the two longitudinal ribs, the shoulder areas have increased dimensions. This made it possible to significantly increase their structural stiffness. In combination with a small-radius tread profile, this solution made it possible to significantly improve the evenness of the distribution of external pressure over the contact patch. The result was an increased carrying capacity of up to 1750 kg, as well as excellent resistance to the development of uneven wear.
Main features of Bontyre BT-320
- all-steel frame provided the possibility of tread restoration;
- universal tread pattern, thanks to which the tire can be installed on any axis of buses and other types of urban commercial transport;
- excellent traction properties on slippery surfaces, thanks to the multitude of transverse lamellas;
- reinforced sidewalls provide reliable protection against aggressive mechanical impact;
- increased resistance to uneven wear due to the optimal distribution of external load over the contact patch;
- a specially selected rubber compound gave the tread excellent resistance to abrasive wear, which significantly increased the service life of the tire.
