The all-season cargo tire Bontyre BT-1260 is another highly specialized product from a well-known Russian manufacturer. This model is offered in a single size, 425/85 R21, making it suitable for installation on any axle of all-wheel drive modifications of KAMAZ trucks and other types of wheeled vehicles based on them. Additionally, the tire is equipped with a high-traction tread pattern, ideal for use on rough terrain.

V-shaped symmetric directional tread pattern

Given the rather narrow specialization of the Bontyre BT-1260 tire, it's no surprise that domestic specialists preferred to use a symmetric directional tread pattern with a V-shaped design. It has the highest efficiency when driving on slippery roads and rough terrain.

In this case, the tread pattern consists of numerous transverse ribs, forming a familiar "herringbone" pattern. Each of them consists of relatively small blocks, predominantly trapezoidal in shape. The compact size of the blocks allowed for a much larger number of them to be placed on the tread, filling the contact patch to the limit with edges of traction. At the same time, the effectiveness of their work is maximized due to the above-mentioned scheme of arranging transverse ribs in a "herringbone" pattern.

The cross-country capability has been significantly improved thanks to the variable number of blocks in the tread ribs. This made it possible to create significant gaps between them in the shoulder areas of the tread, which turned the outer blocks into full-fledged mud grips. As a result, the tire demonstrates exceptional cross-country capability in sand, mud, and snow.

Increased load capacity and strength

Like most other models of this brand, this tire has a all-steel carcass at its base. With its help, it was possible to significantly increase its strength, which led to an increase in load capacity. Additionally, the use of an all-steel carcass created the possibility of retreading, which greatly extended the life of the tire.
