Description BKT Terra Trax
The BKT Terra Trax agricultural tire is specifically designed for feed distributors and other towed equipment used on farms and livestock complexes. The model was created for operation on wet and loose soils, where the tire requires a combination of high traction, gentle soil impact, and stability when moving with a heavy load.
The tire's tread is a combination of numerous blocks arranged in such a way that they form continuous transverse edges of a zigzag shape when moving. This design significantly reduces the likelihood of the tire slipping on loose, waterlogged soils. Note the presence of wide grooves between the blocks, which contribute to more intensive cleaning of the tread from dirt, grass, and mold, thereby further increasing the tire's grip properties in such conditions.
The tire's carcass is made using advanced technology - a multi-layer nylon cord that provides strength and resistance to dynamic loads. This structure protects the tire from deformation under lateral overload and maintains its geometry even when used for an extended period on uneven surfaces. Additional reinforcing layers in the shoulder areas increase resistance to cuts and punctures, extending the service life.
A specialized rubber compound based on synthetic rubbers with the addition of natural oils and silicon dioxide is used to manufacture the tread. This formula provides an optimal balance between elasticity and wear resistance, preventing cracking when in prolonged contact with moisture, ammonia, and other substances often present on farms.
