Description BKT Forestmax
The BKT Forestmax special tire is designed for use on tractors operating on soil surfaces with significant unevenness and reduced bearing capacity. It is positioned by the manufacturer as a universal model, effective for use in both forestry and agriculture. It is characterized by excellent traction and adhesion properties and exceptional resistance to any mechanical damage.
The tread pattern is designed in a directional design with a V-shaped arrangement of blocks. The elements are arranged at a large angle and have elongated curved sidewalls, which provides excellent traction and resistance to lateral skidding. These properties are fully preserved on ground with high moisture content, thanks to the significant voids between the blocks, allowing the tread to intensively self-clean. In the central part, the elements are arranged at a minimum distance from each other, forming a virtually continuous longitudinal rib. This significantly reduces rolling resistance and vibration during movement, as well as prevents the tread from overheating at high speeds, minimizing the risk of forming small cracks in it. It is also worth noting the presence in the tire of a combination of a full-metal breaker and a rubber compound of increased strength. This reduces the risk of punctures and cuts, increasing the tire's mileage in adverse operating conditions.
Key features:
- a multilayer polyester carcass and reinforced sidewalls minimize the risk of penetrating tire damage;
- a full-metal breaker and a particularly durable rubber compound increase the tire's mileage in adverse conditions;
- a directional V-shaped block pattern with elongated curved sidewalls provides excellent traction and resistance to lateral skidding on soil surfaces.
