Description BKT Flotation Rib 774
The BKT Flotation Rib 774 special tire is recommended for use in towed agricultural equipment and trailers. It is characterized by increased load-carrying capacity and resistance to damage, stability of traction properties on any surface, and reduced rolling resistance.
The tread of the tire consists of wide continuous longitudinal ribs. In combination with the optimized tread profile, this provides increased contact patch size with the road surface, along with a very even distribution of pressure across it. On the one hand, this improves traction, and on the other, it prevents excessive compression of the topsoil layer. The increased stiffness of the longitudinal ribs improves directional stability when towing trailers, reducing rolling resistance and preventing overheating of the tire. Another important feature of the tire is the reinforced carcass design. Its multi-layer optimized structure not only increases the carrying capacity of the tire but also provides a more even distribution of pressure across the surface, reducing tread wear. It is worth noting the presence of multi-layer sidewalls, which increase directional stability and reduce the risk of tire damage when driving on unpaved surfaces.
Main features:
- wide solid longitudinal ribs reduce rolling resistance, prevent rapid tread wear, and improve directional stability when towing;
- optimized tread profile and increased width prevent excessive compression of the topsoil layer, reduce abrasive impact on the tread;
- reinforced carcass and sidewalls increase the tire's load-carrying capacity, reduce the risk of crack formation during high-load operation.
