The special BKT AW 09 model is designed for MTZ tractors and other agricultural equipment to provide unprecedented performance in viscous, waterlogged soils. Its innovative design guarantees excellent traction characteristics and directional stability off-road, while reducing rolling resistance and heat on hard surfaces, leading to fuel savings and increased work efficiency.
The secret to the tire's effectiveness lies in its unique open-type tread. It consists of three rows of narrow ring-shaped blocks, as well as massive mud grabbers in the shoulder area. This design allows the tread elements to deeply and aggressively bite into loose soil, creating a reliable foothold. The curved geometry of the sidewalls ensures maximum transmission of traction force even on completely loosened soil, preventing wheel spin.
The specially designed side edges of the blocks actively counteract lateral slipping, making it easier to exit the rut and increasing maneuverability. The open pattern quickly self-cleans from stuck dirt, reducing "clogging" to a minimum.
In the middle zone of the tread, there are several longitudinal ribs. This solution increases directional stability at speed, reduces vibrations and noise, and also minimizes the risk of overheating the tire during long trips. The robust, optimized sidewall shape reduces the risk of mechanical damage and cuts. The tire is made from a special rubber compound with increased resistance to abrasive wear, cuts, and microcracks, which significantly extends its service life.
