The BKT AT-109 special tire is designed for off-road compact equipment - quad bikes, buggies, trikes. It demonstrates the greatest efficiency on sandy and earthy soils, providing comfort in handling, stability of traction properties, smoothness of ride and low vibration level in such conditions.
The tread pattern consists of numerous small blocks. The elements are arranged in such a way that they form virtually continuous transverse edges during movement, which ensures excellent traction when moving both forward and backward. Significant voids between the elements allow the tread to intensively self-clean even from a mixture of soil particles with water, which significantly increases the passability on particularly difficult off-road sections. It is worth noting the presence of elongated blocks on the edges of the tread. The edges formed by them significantly improve the traction and adhesion properties in such conditions. The next important feature of the tire is the profile of its tread. A specially selected curvature of the tread expands the contact patch, maintaining its size and shape even when maneuvering. This significantly increases the comfort of handling, along with the passability on soils with reduced bearing capacity.
