Description BKT AS-505
The BKT AS-505 agricultural tire is designed for trailers and equipment used in soil processing, crop transportation, and auxiliary work. It is released in several modifications, including options with increased tread depth, which allows it to be adapted to various types of agricultural work — from plowing to transportation on public roads.
The tire's tread has a classic "herringbone" pattern, optimized for operation on soft and wet soils. Its large, deeply seated blocks create powerful traction due to the walls of large area and prevent slipping on loose or plowed soil. Significant voids between them effectively remove stuck mud and plant residues, maintaining high passability in such conditions.
In the shoulder areas, the blocks have a pointed profile, and there are special protrusions on their sidewalls. This reduces the likelihood of lateral slipping when processing fields and maneuvering in limited areas.
The tire's carcass is made using a special technology — a diagonal structure of several layers of high-density nylon cord. It evenly distributes the load, protects the tire from deformation under dynamic forces, and maintains a stable geometry when moving with heavy equipment. Additional reinforcing elements in the sidewalls prevent punctures and delamination, which significantly increases the service life.
An improved rubber compound is used for the tread, which includes synthetic rubbers, micro-dispersed silicon dioxide, and natural oils. This formula is resistant to moisture, aggressive chemicals, maintains elasticity at low temperatures, and prevents micro-cracks during prolonged operation.
Key features of BKT AS-505:
- "herringbone" tread provides traction on wet and loose soils;
- diagonal carcass increases resistance to loads and damage;
- special compound protects against moisture and aggressive environments.
