Description BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A Tour
Released by the world-renowned North American manufacturer, the all-season universal tire BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A Tour is designed for high-performance passenger vehicles with four-wheel drive, as well as for SUVs and pickups, which are mainly operated on paved roads.
The design of the symmetrical tread pattern of the tire implies operation mainly on asphalt roads. The tread pattern is equipped with virtually continuous five ribs, divided by four longitudinal grooves. When driving on wet roads, the tire is distinguished by excellent traction with the surface, thanks to the effective and rapid removal of water from the tire's contact patch, ensured by four grooves located along the entire tread. The increased speed of water removal from the tire's contact patch is largely contributed by the special shape of the transverse channels located on the surface of the two side ribs.
In addition, the BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A Tour tire is distinguished by excellent course stability and braking performance, thanks to the wide central rib, the rigidity of which is enhanced by additional bridges between the blocks. It is also worth noting the presence of numerous self-locking lamellas, with which the entire tread is literally dotted. This made it possible to significantly increase the rigidity of all tread elements, which increased the efficiency of acceleration and braking.
Thanks to the optimized tread pattern, the tire is characterized by low fuel consumption, softness, low noise level, and high comfort when driving. In addition, the careful selection of the rubber compound composition of the tire tread made it possible to significantly increase the wear resistance of the tire, which led to an increase in its service life.
The main features of the BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A Tour tire
- Excellent traction on both dry and wet and slippery surfaces is provided by the original symmetrical tread pattern;
- Low fuel consumption due to reduced rolling resistance;
- High efficiency of acceleration and braking due to the rigidity of all structural elements of the tread, ensured by self-locking lamellas;
- High resistance to aquaplaning provides the tire with stability and safety when driving on wet roads.
