BFGoodrich g-Grip

The summer passenger tire BFGoodrich g-Grip from the well-known North American manufacturer is designed for a wide range of passenger cars. The tire is produced in 49 sizes with speed indices T, H, V, W, and Y.

The tire features a unique V-shaped directional tread pattern design that contains a number of interesting solutions. The tread pattern consists of three central ribs and two shoulder zones, separated by two very wide and two narrow longitudinally arranged grooves.

Thanks to the wide central rib, the tire has excellent handling and high maneuverability. Four water drainage grooves combined with diagonal water drainage channels allow the tire to effectively combat aquaplaning, which significantly increases the stability of the tire's behavior when driving on wet roads. Additionally, the special shape of the diagonal channels significantly increases the speed of water removal from the tire's contact patch with the surface.

Another distinctive feature of the BFGoodrich g-Grip tire's tread pattern is the presence of special self-locking lamellas that stiffen the blocks. This allows for a significant improvement in the tire's braking characteristics on any surface. The reinforced shoulder zones improve the tire's grip with the road surface when cornering, and their rounded profile prevents the occurrence of deformations that occur during lateral acceleration.

Furthermore, thanks to the V-shaped tread pattern, the tire has low rolling resistance, which directly affects the fuel efficiency indicators, which are simply excellent for this tire.
