Description BFGoodrich G-force t/a kdw 2
The BFGoodrich G-force t/a kdw 2 summer tire is referred to as a "rain" tire. It is characterized by increased efficiency on wet pavement, while demonstrating sporty handling and directional stability, both when driving straight and when cornering, along with high durability and fuel efficiency.
The tread pattern stands out with an aggressively designed profile, in which numerous curved drainage grooves prevail, located at a strong angle relative to the direction of travel. This allows them to use the rotation of the tire to increase the intensity of water removal from under the tire, reducing the risk of aquaplaning to a minimum at almost any speed. The effectiveness of the tread on dry pavement is achieved due to the "sporty" profile of the tread, which, except for small areas on the edges, is made practically flat. This increases the contact patch, ensuring even distribution of pressure on the road surface, improving both traction and handling. It is worth noting the use of a compound with a high content of "silica", which is characterized by increased adhesion on wet pavement, along with resistance to abrasive wear, delamination and cracking.
Main features of BFGoodrich G-force t/a kdw 2:
- Tread pattern with numerous curved grooves directed against the direction of travel, providing reliable traction on wet pavement;
- "Sporty" tread profile improves traction and handling, reduces wear;
- Rubber compound with high silica content enhances traction properties on wet pavement;
- Frame reinforced with additional cord in the shoulder areas increases stability and steering precision when cornering at high speed
