Description BFGoodrich G-force rival
The summer-type tire BFGoodrich G-force rival is designed for use in sports cars. In essence, it is a racing tire adapted for operation on public roads, while maintaining high performance on sports tracks. It shows the greatest efficiency on dry pavement.
To a large extent, the possibility of using this tire in "track/street" mode is provided due to the characteristics of the rubber mixture. Its composition contains silicon dioxide and a complex of special polymers, providing elasticity at a level sufficient to ensure good grip on the racing track, while maintaining high resistance to abrasive wear, giving the tire sufficient resources for prolonged operation on public roads. The next feature is the design of the tread pattern. It represents a combination of massive blocks separated by longitudinal and transverse grooves. The latter have a curved shape and variable width, due to which the model maintains reliable handling and on wet pavement. It is also worth noting the optimized arrangement of drainage elements, according to which they allow the tread to more evenly envelop the road surface, using the maximum available area of the tread for this. It is increased due to the profile, which also aligns the edges of the contact patch, giving it a rectangular shape, optimal from the point of view of both grip and handling.
Main features of BFGoodrich G-force rival:
- special inserts in the sidewalls increase their resistance to deformation, providing more stability and precision handling in turns;
- dual steel cord in the breaker enhances the coupling properties at high speed, facilitating control over the trajectory of the vehicle's movement in such conditions;
- optimized tread profile and arrangement of drainage elements provide uniform pressure distribution over the road surface, improving traction and handling, reducing wear and preventing overheating.
