Being one of the novelties from a well-known manufacturer in our country from a neighboring country, the Belshina Bi-395 model stands out favorably from most of its analogs. First and foremost, this is the almost ideal adaptability of its design for operation on poor roads. This tire, thanks to its high strength, demonstrates excellent reliability throughout its entire service life, which, by the way, is quite long.
Open tread design
Despite the fact that this model was initially intended for operation on winter, but still paved roads, it shows good performance and beyond. This is largely due to the open tread design, which uses many solutions characteristic of off-road tires. They are united by the presence of many separate blocks, which, for the sake of increased grip, have a complex polygonal shape with a large number of differently directed edges. Along with a fairly significant distance between the blocks, this allows the tire to demonstrate excellent efficiency on dirt roads.
Increased contact patch size
This tire is distinguished by an increased contact patch size. This is achieved due to several design features at once. First of all, it is the optimized profile shape of the tread. Under load, it literally expands, not only increasing the size of the contact patch but also giving it a more effective rectangular shape in terms of grip and resistance to uneven wear. The second factor contributing to the increase in the contact patch is the massive size of the tread blocks.
Main features of the Belshina Bi-395 tire
- open tread design with numerous blocks provides the tire with excellent performance not only on paved but also on dirt roads;
- a large number of differently directed gripping edges formed by both blocks and lamellas improves traction on slippery surfaces;
- the optimized profile shape of the tread increases the contact patch size, giving it an optimal rectangular shape.
