The Belshina Bel-579 summer tire represents a High Terrain category road tire. It is characterized by increased stability and comfort when driving at high speeds, effective braking on wet surfaces, quiet and smooth ride, and an extended service life.
One of the distinctive features of the tire is the use of a breaker with a full-metal cord, located directly under the tread. This "underlay" increases directional stability at high speeds, provides precise handling and stability in turns, prevents rapid wear of the tread, and reduces rolling resistance. All these properties are further enhanced by the profile of the tread, which is almost flat in the central part and noticeably rounded in the shoulder areas. As for the tread pattern, it is distinguished by a large number of transverse lamellas. Their sharpened edges increase traction and braking properties on wet surfaces.
