Description Белшина Бел-128
The key feature of the Belshina Bel-128 truck tire is its area of application, limited to the driving axles of trucks and buses. Among other distinctive features of this model, it is worth noting the possibility of year-round operation, increased traction and coupling properties on slippery surfaces, as well as a long service life.
Block structure of the tread pattern
Since the Belshina Bel-128 model was initially intended for the driving axles of high-capacity trucks, the company's specialists developing it preferred to equip it with a tread pattern with a large number of individual blocks. In the process of movement, these elements, coming into contact with the road surface, form a multitude of engagement edges, located both longitudinally and transversely. As a result, the tire demonstrates reliable engagement, especially on slippery surfaces.
Excellent directional stability
Despite the large number of individual blocks, the Belarusian tire makers managed to ensure high directional stability. This was achieved due to the quadrangular shape and arrangement of the tread blocks, which made it possible to form five longitudinal ribs. Their deformation stiffness is quite sufficient to provide stable and reliable behavior when moving at high speed.
Optimal distribution of external pressure on the contact patch
Unlike the central part of the tread, its shoulder zones have a slightly different structure, due to the specificity of the tasks they perform. They also consist of a multitude of individual blocks, however, each of them is connected to each other by very rigid bridges, which turns them into a single structural element. Thanks to this, the distribution of external pressure occurs very evenly, which, in turn, significantly increases the resistance of the tread to uneven wear, as well as increases the overall strength of the tire.
Main features of the Belshina Bel-128 truck tire
- the tire is specially designed for year-round operation on the driving axles of trucks and buses;
- a multitude of massive rectangular blocks provides the tire with high engagement properties in the longitudinal direction;
- excellent load-carrying capacity and even distribution of external pressure on the contact patch, thanks to the original structure of the shoulder zones;
- excellent resistance to aquaplaning due to the open design of the tread pattern, filled to the limit with longitudinal and transverse drainage channels.
