One of the novelties from the well-known Belarusian manufacturer in our country, the Belshina Bel-121 passenger tire, is designed for SUVs. It is favorably distinguished from numerous competitors not only by the possibility of using it both in summer and winter, but also by a number of other advantages. This model is perfectly adapted for operation not only on paved roads, but also far beyond their limits. The universal tread pattern has excellent performance both on highways and on any dirt surface. At the same time, the special composition of the rubber mixture gives the tire increased resistance to punctures and cuts, which ensures a high level of reliability.
"All-weather" tread pattern
This model owes its universality largely to the tread pattern, which has a rather non-trivial design. It contains a large number of individual blocks, the size of which decreases as it approaches the center of the tread. The large number of small blocks in the central part provides a contact patch with numerous edges of adhesion. Thanks to this, the tire demonstrates good traction on surfaces with reduced bearing capacity, from dirt to snow. At the same time, the drainage grooves located between the blocks allow water and more massive snow masses to be diverted from the contact patch.
Improved traction on packed snow and wet roads
Almost all blocks have small lamellas. These elements, despite their miniature size, have a fairly wide range of functions. Mainly, it manifests itself on packed snow and wet roads. Thanks to the numerous edges formed by the lamellas, the tire demonstrates reliable and very stable traction on them.
