The Bearway YS618 summer tire is one of the few representatives of the so-called "rain" tires. The model is characterized by exceptional resistance to hydroplaning. The application of advanced technologies in its development allowed to maintain most of the other equally important operational properties at a very high level.
The tread pattern is notable for the multitude and V-shaped arrangement of grooves. Such elements, being directed against the direction of movement, minimize the risk of aquaplaning, while providing excellent traction properties and directional stability on wet pavement. The continuous longitudinal rib located exactly in the middle of the tread increases stability and steering accuracy at high speeds, interacting with the rigid blocks on the edges of the tread.
Key features of the Bearway YS618
- a large number and V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves provide exceptional resistance to hydroplaning;
- a rigid rib in the middle and blocks on the edges improve directional stability and steering accuracy, prevent uneven wear of the tread;
- a rubber compound with ultra-high "silica" content significantly improves traction on wet pavement
