Winter non-studded tires Barnaul Forward Arctic 710 stand out for having the same technical solutions as models from more renowned manufacturers. However, unlike them, the domestic product has a significant advantage in terms of cost, which, combined with high operational performance, makes it one of the leaders in our market in terms of price and quality.
Original V-shaped tread pattern
Considering the specifics of winter operation in our country, domestic tire manufacturers preferred to equip this tire with a symmetrical directional tread pattern with a V-shaped arrangement of elements. One of its distinctive features is the central longitudinal rib, which has very large dimensions and a composite structure.
It consists of a series of separate blocks of trapezoidal shape, abundant with a large number of sharp edges and corners. At the same time, the long sides of these blocks are arranged transversely to the direction of movement. This was done to provide maximum grip properties in the longitudinal direction.
The two adjacent longitudinal ribs also consist of separate blocks of quadrangular shape. Thanks to their inclination relative to the direction of movement, these tread elements provide directional stability.
The shoulder zones of the tread, having a similar block structure, allow the Barnaul Forward Arctic 710 tire to demonstrate high efficiency of braking on slippery surfaces. In addition, when driving on deep snow, the blocks of the shoulder zones perform the function of ground hooks, allowing for more confident overcoming of snow drifts.
Excellent resistance to aquaplaning and slushplaning
One of the advantages of the symmetrical directional V-shaped tread pattern is the high efficiency of the drainage system. In this case, it was further increased not only due to the block design of the tread pattern but also due to the large distance between its elements.
Main advantages of Barnaul Forward Arctic 710
- excellent grip with icy surfaces thanks to the multitude of lamellas, which form a multitude of additional grip edges when in contact with the road surface;
- a wide central rib, consisting of trapezoidal blocks, provides the tire with excellent traction and grip properties, especially on slippery roads;
- five longitudinal ribs provide stable behavior when driving on winter roads;
- excellent resistance to aquaplaning and slushplaning due to the high efficiency of the drainage system;
- excellent snow passability is ensured by the multitude of massive tread blocks located in the shoulder zones of the tread.
