Despite the fact that the Altayshina 2 tire was initially created for operation exclusively in agriculture, its design widely used solutions inherent to cargo models. In particular, it was equipped with a tread pattern consisting of 7 longitudinal ribs, two of which are shoulder zones. Thanks to this, domestic specialists were able to give this model excellent directional stability, as well as very low rolling resistance, which had a very favorable effect on fuel economy indicators.
Another undisputed advantage of such a tread pattern is high resistance to uneven wear. This was achieved thanks to the same 7 longitudinal ribs, the practically identical sizes of which made it possible to ensure very even distribution over the contact patch. The final result of this was a significant increase in the service life of the entire tire as a whole.
Excellent handling on soft soils and stubble
One of the key features of this model is excellent handling on soft soil types and stubble. This ability is largely determined by the high efficiency of the drainage system. It consists of 6 longitudinal drainage grooves, the large size of which allows the tread to quickly get rid of the soil particles that get into them, thereby ensuring reliable traction with the surface.
