Description Aurora UF17
The Aurora UF17 truck tire is designed for installation on the steering axles of trucks and buses, which has determined the presence of a number of design features that will be discussed below. Also, it is impossible not to note the high technical characteristics, which are amazingly combined with a very humane cost of this model.
Low rolling resistance and excellent directional stability
This model is equipped with a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, which contains five longitudinal ribs. Three of them are located in its central part, and two are formed by the shoulder zones. At the same time, each of them can boast of a deformation-resistant design, which is achieved due to the absence of any breaks in them. In motion, these features are reflected in the form of excellent directional stability at any speed, as well as low rolling resistance.
Short braking distance
Despite the absence of a large number of separate elements, the tread pattern of this model has a significant number of transverse traction edges. They are formed by numerous lamellas. At the same time, their zigzag shape and location at a significant angle to the direction of movement allows maintaining deformation resistance at a very high level.
Wide shoulder zones
Among other distinctive features of this tire, it is worth noting the design of the shoulder zones. They are favorably distinguished by a reinforced design due to massive sizes and a rigid rubber mixture. Thanks to this, it was possible to improve a number of tire performance indicators. First of all, these are traction properties on dry roads and resistance to uneven wear, ensured by increasing the size of the contact patch and optimizing the distribution of external load on it.
Main features of the Aurora UF17 tire
- the tire is designed for operation on the steering axles of trucks and buses;
- a 5-rib design of a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern provides excellent traction in any conditions;
- a short braking distance, especially on wet roads, due to numerous transverse traction edges formed by a multitude of zigzag-shaped lamellas;
- excellent directional stability and high maneuverability are provided by the rigid design of the three longitudinal ribs of the central part of the tread.
