Description Aurora UF16
The Aurora UF16 truck tire is designed for installation on the steering axles of trucks used in intercity and interregional transportation. It is distinguished by excellent traction in any conditions, excellent fuel efficiency, and a very humane cost, which ensures high economic efficiency during operation.
Excellent directional stability
One of the characteristic features of this model is the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern. It consists of five longitudinally arranged ribs. At the same time, two of them are shoulder zones. However, each of these tread elements has an identical design, devoid of any breaks throughout its length. Thanks to this, all longitudinal ribs have very high resistance to deformation that occurs during movement. Due to this design feature, not only excellent directional stability is achieved at any speed, but also the responsiveness of the tire to the driver's control actions is instantaneous. All this greatly simplifies the process of managing a heavy truck.
Low rolling resistance
As mentioned earlier, each of the five tread ribs has no breaks throughout its length. The absence of a large number of separate elements, combined with very high resistance to deformation, both of the tread and the carcass, allows the tire to demonstrate very low rolling resistance, which affects fuel consumption.
High braking efficiency
The absence of a large number of separate tread elements that form multiple gripping edges during movement has not affected the longitudinal gripping properties of this tire. This is because instead of blocks, the developers of this tire preferred to use wavy lamellas that are located on each tread rib. This solution, on the one hand, made it possible to reduce the braking distance, and on the other hand, preserved the other operational qualities of the tire at the same high level.
