Description Aurora UF02
The Aurora UF02 truck tire was designed with the need to provide it with the lowest possible rolling resistance and a long service life. This is not surprising, since this model is designed for use on the trailer axles of trucks. Among other features of this tire, it is necessary to note its excellent traction properties, as well as a very attractive cost, which gives its operation significant economic efficiency.
Multi-rib design of a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern
Since the Aurora UF02 model was initially designed for use on trailers and semi-trailers, its design contains a number of solutions characteristic of this category of tires. One of these design features is a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern. Its central part contains three longitudinal ribs, and two more similar elements are located in the shoulder areas.
All longitudinal ribs, including the shoulder areas, are distinguished by very high structural rigidity, and therefore excellent resistance to dynamic deformation. This was achieved due to the absence of any gaps in the form of grooves or lamellas in them. As a result, the tire has acquired a number of significant advantages - excellent directional stability, low rolling resistance.
It is also impossible not to note the almost equal sizes of all tread ribs, which, at the same time, are distinguished by a large width. Thanks to this, it was possible to increase the size of the contact patch, giving it an almost rectangular shape, which, in turn, led to an increase in traction and resistance to uneven wear.
Main features of the Aurora UF02 tire
- the tire is designed for use on trailers and semi-trailers;
- five deformation-resistant longitudinal ribs provide excellent directional stability;
- a large contact patch, achieved due to the massiveness of the tread ribs, improves traction on dry roads;
- four longitudinal drainage grooves provide improved traction on wet roads;
- low rolling resistance due to the absence of gaps in the longitudinal ribs, as well as their high resistance to dynamic deformation;
- equal sizes of all longitudinal ribs improve traction and resistance of the tread to uneven wear, which increases the lifespan of the tire.
