The Aufine ST939 truck tire is designed for the steering axle of trucks used in intercity and interregional transportation. This model is characterized by high maneuverability, low rolling resistance, short braking distance, and a very long service life.
Multi-rib tread pattern
The symmetrical, non-directional tread pattern of this model features five longitudinal ribs separated by wide drainage grooves. Each of these tread elements has high resistance to dynamic deformation that occurs during movement, achieved through a rigid design without separate elements. As a result, the tire demonstrates several important qualities, including low rolling resistance, excellent directional stability, and very fast and precise reactions to steering wheel turns.
Effective braking
Despite the lack of a large number of separate blocks, this model is favorably distinguished by excellent braking efficiency. This is achieved due to the presence of a large number of transverse sipes that are cut through the entire depth of the tread in each of the longitudinal ribs, including the shoulder areas. During movement, these tread elements, opening up, form numerous edges of adhesion, most of which are located transversely to the direction of movement. This significantly reduces the length of the braking distance, especially on wet roads.
